The Bush Oasis Caravan Park in Nome near Townsville is looking to expand, requiring stormwater and wastewater management solutions to ensure no worsening effect in water quality or quantity. The project involved the design of a wetlands system for stormwater detention and polishing of treated effluent from the on-site wastewater treatment plan. A water balance model was created using MEDLI software to model the effect of the development and the proposed wetland. ACS Engineers are continuing to provide ongoing support for construction activities.
